Maginoo Manila crest

The House

A title, not just a name.

In the old tongue, maginoo named the nobility — those set apart by bearing, not birth alone. Maginoo Manila borrows that title on purpose. Step past the curtain and the city outside stops mattering.

Low light, deep velvet, and company chosen with the same care as the wine list. We are a room built for attention — the kind that is earned, held, and never rushed.

  • Est. A house for those who prefer discretion to display
  • Dress Smart, dark, deliberate
  • Hours Doors open after sundown

The Original Mark

Klub Maginoo stands as one of the most notable names in Northern Metro Manila's gay nightlife history. Established during the peak era of traditional host and entertainment venues in the late 1990s, the brand grew from a single third-floor venue into a recognized nightlife staple across Metro Manila.

1996 – 2001 Founding & The Monumento Years
  • The LaunchKlub Maginoo officially opened its doors in 1996 in Monumento, Caloocan City.
  • LocationThe venue occupied the 3rd floor of a nightlife building directly across from Tropical Hut, situated right above Gerardo Live Bands and Pink Panther.
  • FinancierAling Lizan provided the primary financial backing for the establishment.
  • Founding OperatorVictor Homer Santos, widely known as "Bam" (from Bangkulasi, Navotas), was instrumental in establishing and guiding the bar.
  • Operations ManagerRommel Villaflor, known affectionately as "Uga," managed day-to-day operations and floor productions.
  • Core TeamJojie Aducol worked alongside management to run the venue and build its loyal customer base.

From 1996 to 2001, Klub Maginoo became a go-to hub in Caloocan, known for its high-energy group dance revues, host entertainment, and discreet lounge atmosphere catering to patrons from Northern Metro Manila.

2001 → Closure & Cross-City Expansion

Following a successful five-year run, the original Monumento venue closed in 2001. The Maginoo name had, by then, gained significant renown — leading to new, separate venues reopening under different ownership groups in major nightlife hubs.

  • Quezon CityRe-established along the Timog / Tomas Morato entertainment strip.
  • Sta. Cruz, ManilaOpened as a central Manila branch to capture the downtown crowd.
Today Return to Its Roots

Decades after its initial opening, the brand came full circle — returning to its original home base in Monumento. Operating today as an exclusive gentlemen's lounge, Maginoo Manila continues the legacy started by its founders in 1996, keeping the historic Maginoo name alive in Northern Metro Manila.
